BizTalk BAM
well in brief its BizTalk Business Activity Monitor a took that let you have a bussiness view of what is happening in your solution (in context its BTS solution) it does that by keeping track of messages that flows in your system so it gives you answers like how many POs did we make out of country X during 07 Q1 by XYZ sales group, recently took on a small project that entails lots of BAM in it; basiclly i had in mind intercepting WS-*/WCF messages and BAM them, i needed to refresh my BAM knowlege found this intersting blog by a fellow MVP
